Do I need an EFIN to use MayTax Pro?
Yes, to transmit returns electronically you need your own active Electronic Filing Identification Number. If you have not applied yet, we walk you through it during onboarding, though the application and its approval are between you and the Internal Revenue Service.
How do I qualify for free software?
Fund 30 bank products and the software portion of your package is credited back. Maintain 30 each year and your software stays free for as long as you are with us. On the Multi-Office program the 30 is counted across your whole organization rather than per location.
Are there per-return or transmission fees?
Yes. Per-return and related service fees are set out in your service bureau agreement and confirmed in writing before you sign. They are set per office, so we quote them with your program rather than publishing a single figure.
Can I add locations mid-season?
Yes. Locations are added under your parent office so reporting reflects how your business is actually structured.
