Professional Tax Software
MayTax Pro licenses professional tax preparation software to independent tax offices. MayTax Pro does not prepare tax returns for the public through this offering, does not calculate or verify any return you prepare, and is not the electronic return originator for returns you transmit. You remain fully responsible for the accuracy of every return, for your own compliance with Treasury Circular 230, the Internal Revenue Service e-file rules including Publication 1345, preparer due diligence requirements, and any state licensing or registration that applies to you. Acceptance of an electronically filed return is determined by the Internal Revenue Service and the state agencies, not by MayTax Pro, and no acceptance, transmission time, or refund timing is guaranteed. The form library, calculations, and electronic filing are delivered through licensed software providers, and the features available to you depend on your active license and the tax year.
Software Licensing, Training, and Results
MayTax Pro licenses professional tax preparation software to independent tax businesses, and includes training and marketing education for owners who are newer to the industry. Each office is an independent business that trades under its own name and files under its own Electronic Filing Identification Number. Nothing in this program creates a franchise, partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship with MayTax Pro, and MayTax Pro does not provide customers, accounts, leads, or territories to any office. Training explains how to market and run a tax practice. It is not a promise that any particular client, appointment, or return will result. MayTax Pro does not obtain, hold, or guarantee your Electronic Filing Identification Number or your Preparer Tax Identification Number, and it cannot guarantee that the Internal Revenue Service will approve your application. Any figures describing return volume, fees, revenue, or growth are illustrations only. They are not typical results, not projections, and not a promise of earnings. Your results depend on your own market, effort, pricing, and business decisions, and you may earn less than the examples shown or nothing at all.
Refund Transfers and Bank Products
Refund transfers, refund advances, and similar bank products are offered by third-party banks and financial service providers, not by MayTax Pro. Every product is subject to that provider's own application, underwriting, approval, fees, and terms, and to your separate agreement with them. Approval is never guaranteed, advance amounts are set by the provider, and the timing of any refund or advance is controlled by the Internal Revenue Service, the state agency, and the provider. MayTax Pro does not lend money and does not decide who is approved.

Every client's situation is different. MayTax Pro does not promise or guarantee any specific outcome, result, savings, or return from the use of this website or from any service. Examples and general information describe possibilities, not assurances.
